Taking an experimental approach, the zine is positioned within Akira’s 1988 universe, we take the form of an observer of a fictional universe and its events in an attempt to expand the worldview within the animation.

We put real stories and invent new stories in order to cover several areas that ended up not appearing in the original feature, at the same time, trying to pull a little bit of the identity of the original work.

The zine was made using two languages, English and Japanese, one for being a universal language, expanding the variety and quantity that the zine could reach in the universe of animation, and Japanese because the animation takes place exactly in Tokyo.
